My story

Creative beginnings

I started my career as a Designer but soon turned my focus to strategic work when I moved to agency life. I then spent over a decade growing world-class brand agency Whippet London from set up to scale up, working with some incredible brands and talented people.

The next chapter

I know growing a business is one of the most rewarding things you can do. I also know it’s one of the most challenging.

That’s why I created Rare Thing.

My mission is to power up businesses like yours with big brand thinking and properly useful tools. I will help you define and communicate who you are, how your brand is different and why your audience should choose you rather than the competition.

When I’m not working, I can be found half way up a big hill combining a love of the natural world with my appetite for a challenge.

Having already climbed Kilimanjaro and trekked to Everest Base Camp, I recently decided to climb 50 Scottish Munros* to celebrate ‘a certain big birthday’. I was joined all the way by my trusted partner in crime - Instagram influencer @ernie_theyellowdog who kept me on my toes with his joy and enthusiasm for the local wildlife(!)

In total I clocked up 48,352 metres of ‘up’, which works out 5.5 times higher than Everest (#humblebrag).
